Epinions Vivicam10 and the Dummy

by  elunsford,  Feb 22, 2003
Pros: NO FILM REQUIRED. Small enough to fit into a shirt pocket or on belt.
Cons: No real "fancy" functions. No digital display for previewing.
The Bottom Line: Fun, simple to use, understandable instructions and user-friendly software. Great starter.
Review: the Vivicam10 is my first digital camera I have ever bought or used. This is a rather smallish camera with big features. There are the two settings for quality CIF (320 x 240 pixels) or VGA (640 x 480 pixels), There is a switch on the side for "Macro"...

Epinions Pretty good for emailing

by  valleyguy,  Nov 12, 2002
Pros: Small, cheap, some decent pix
Cons: Awful in low light, never ready when you are.
The Bottom Line: Worth it as long as you keep limitations in mind.
Review: Not a bad camera for $49 (WalMart), and light enough to carry everywhere. Great battery life and memory (perhaps 70 pix), nifty case, good free software. But it produces mixed results: surprisingly good outdoors, especially if the sun isn't an issue, or...

Epinions Lots of features for the price.

by  hotsunfyre,  Nov 12, 2002
Pros: Great bang for your buck. Inexpensive.
Cons: Accompanying software is too simple. All you need is Adobe Photoshop.
The Bottom Line: Can't beat it for the price! Again lots of bang for your buck!
Review: Found the camera by accident in a Wal-Mart. Actual price of the camera is $49.88, but found a pegboard with them labeled at $29.88. Can't beat it.

Even at $50, the camera has a lot of useful features. It has a thread on the bottom for use...

Epinions ViVicam 10 camera, used. Bit dated by now.

by  tint,  Jan 19, 2004
Pros: good beginner
Cons: poor in low light
Review: My camera was bought from hock shop. I got a driver and manual from ViVitar online. The multiple frames didn't work. But the rest did, and for a very low price it does well as a beginner camera. Photopaint(or !) will improve on all low light shots. ...
